The Behavioural Ecology Research Group of the University of Debrecen being part of the Department of Evolutionary Biology have been investigating the behaviour of animals since 1988. Our interest is twofold. First, we analyse the adaptability of behavioural traits by means of theoretical methods. Second, we test the predictions of our models on wild populations of animals.
